Air filtration is very important in various applications. For example, in ignition engines, the filtration affects engine efficiency and fuel consumption. Nowadays, using nanofibers is getting developed for improving the filter efficiency especially when the filter is dealing with the particulates less than 1 micrometer. Adding nanofiber to the filter surface leads to decreasing the size of filter holes as well as providing a large surface area for particulate absorption.
