HEALTEX is one of the technical yarns which has the ability to reflect infrared rays and. Researches show that electromagnetic rays in the range of 6 to 14 micrometers can penetrate into the human’s body. That’s why far infrared rays are also called biogenetic rays. When infrared rays penetrate into the body, they become in direct contact with proteins, collagen, fat cells and water.

This test results are an indicator of how a material maintains the heat. In this test, the body temperatures are measured after wearing clothes containing modified textile for the different period like 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45 and 60 minutes. It is important to notice that the results in the above table are for a time period of 60 minutes.
