Moisture is one of the main factors destroying building view. Water and moisture penetration into building materials is a known issue. most of building materials have pores that makes them hydrophilic, so that water will penetrate into them easily. In order to prevent destruction of building view, peeling of paint or growth of mold or bacteria, hydrophobicity of building material surfaces is necessary.

In addition to hydrophobicity, keeping building materials in touch with air has a major importance. This product helps building materials to keep in touch with air in addition to hydrophobicity through Nanotechnology. Also, cause of penetrative behavior of this coating, it will be more durable.

In this product droplet’s contact angle with the surface is increased due to use of Nanotechnology so that water absorbance by the surface is decreased.

Hydrophobicity of this product is evaluated through the test “water droplet contact angle” according to standard ASTM D7334 which results are as follows:

The contact angle of the droplet and the surface in this test is indicator of hydrophobicity value. If the contact angle for a surface is less than 90 degrees then that surface is hydrophilic and if the contact angle is more than 90 degrees, the surface is called hydrophobic. Also, if any surface makes a contact angle of more than 150 degrees then that surface will be called super hydrophobic.

  • The surface should be clean and free of any contamination before usage
  • This product should be applied at least for 2 times
  • The second layer should be applied before first layer dries
  • Nanosil should be applied until saturation of surface in case of spray application


  • Use it in maximum 1 year after production date
  • Keep it between 0 to 30 Celsius degrees
  • Keep it closed and avoid sunlight
  • The product is available in 1, 4 and 20 liters packs
