Stand or long immobilization, aging, weight gain (especially during pregnancy), hospitalization, long-distance travel, accidents and blows that stop the blood in the veins are the factors that increase the risk of varices. When using elastic and close-fitting clothing sweating of body goes up, Fungi and bacteria begin its activities and after that its skin problems (skin reactions, itching, unpleasant body odor, etc.) is created. Thus, in recent years some companies in the textile industry focused on producing antibacterial socks. Using nanotechnology as one of the powerful tools in this area has helped to improve the situation, so that now we can inhibit the growth of several known types of bacteria in socks by silver nanoparticles. The present product is an antibacterial socks which is woven from polyamide yarns containing silver nanoparticles.
Antibacterial compression stockings to prevent from growing of germs and causing odor
Antibacterial PA6 yarns containing about 19 ppm silver nanoparticles with dimensions less than 100 nm. The stability of nano antibacterial effect on fibers during washing and use is due to the adding nano silvers through the melt spinning procedure.
According to the anti-bacterial and anti-fungal tests, our nano antimicrobial textiles have possibility to remove of bacteria such as E.Coli, S.Aureus and fungi such as Candida and Trichophyton rubrum. These textiles don’t cause to skin sensitivity and irritation. Releasing test showed the absence of silver nanoparticles in wastewater of washing process.
There are no special instructions for use and maintenance.
Products are available in conventional textiles packages.
